A Mocsarak Ura — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
A Mocsarak Ura is an extra large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles, designed for eight players, all of whom may be human, with no teams and every faction chosen at random. The author's description, paraphrased, speaks of a catastrophic flood that turned varied countryside into a swampland overrun by monsters, and the player must restore order. Terrain is mostly rock, subterranean ground, water and swamp. Victory comes from flagging every creature dwelling, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 27 towns and 27 starting heroes, with 280 random monster stacks, 144 mines, a Grail, and several named artifacts such as the Sword of Judgement and Boots of Speed. A Red Dragon guards one dwelling.
