A magia ereje is an extra large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles for Shadow of Death, aimed at expert players. The author's note frames it as a challenge for a self-proclaimed magic expert who must overcome four obstacles, and the map is built around that idea. Five players are set up, with only one human seat and four computer-only colors: Blue, Tan, Green, and Orange. Two teams divide the field, and the factions in play are Tower, Conflux, Rampart, Castle, and Fortress. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. Rock covers about 35 percent of the terrain, grass about 22 percent, subterranean ground 15 percent, and water 12 percent. Notable features include 33 towns, 91 mines, 14 seer huts, a Grail, and 34 random artifacts, along with wandering elemental stacks and timed events.
