A Dream of Heroes — SoD

A Dream of Heroes is an extra-large underground map for Shadow of Death, sized 144 by 144, rated Expert, and built for eight players with six seats open to humans and Purple and Pink left to the computer. There are no teams, and victory comes from defeating every enemy, while a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The factions range across Dungeon, Castle, Stronghold, Rampart, Fortress, Tower and Necropolis, with several colors mixing more than one. About a fifth of the map is water and nearly half is rock. Players will find 31 towns, 21 heroes, 108 mines and a Grail, along with wandering monsters such as Black Dragons and Vampire Lords, and sixteen monoliths and portals. The map is described as best suited to multiplayer, though it can also be played alone.

Author's description

Each side has its own storyline. Choose one and fight for this remote corner of Antagarich. Note: All heroes have been set up so as to be able to exploit their specialties at full capacity - dream heroes :) The map probably works best in Multiplayer, but can also be played as Single.
