Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
This Extra Large 144 by 144 map for Shadow of Death includes an underground level and is set to Impossible difficulty. It supports up to one human player facing four computer-only opponents, with no teams. Red plays Inferno, Blue Fortress, Tan Tower, Green Castle, and Orange Stronghold. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Sand covers about half the land, with snow, grass, and lava making up much of the rest, and water is a small share. Nine towns and nine heroes are placed across the map, along with wandering monsters such as Royal Griffins and Rocs. Notable finds include the Grail, Armageddon's Blade, and Angel Wings, plus 34 mines, seven seer huts, and fourteen creature banks.
