This extra large underground map covers 144 by 144 tiles and is rated expert. Undead hordes and accursed legions, beaten in an earlier war, have regrouped to threaten the world, and the scenario calls for a skilled strategist to stop them. Eight players can take part, with four seats open to humans and four held by computer players in the Orange, Purple, Teal and Pink colors. The players form six teams, and the factions are Castle, Tower, Dungeon, Rampart, Stronghold, Inferno and Necropolis, the last appearing twice. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses after losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about 40 percent of the terrain, with grass, water and subterranean ground making up much of the rest. The map contains 34 towns, 28 heroes, 117 mines, 49 monoliths and portals, and the Grail.
