Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
This Extra Large map spans 144 by 144 tiles and includes an underground level. It is built for eight players, all of whom can be human, with no team play and a Hard difficulty rating. Castle, Rampart, Stronghold, Dungeon, Tower, Fortress and Inferno are in play, with two players starting as Castle. Victory requires flagging every creature dwelling, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Water covers about 27 percent of the terrain, alongside rock, swamp and snow. Expect 48 towns, 122 mines, 180 creature banks and 62 monoliths and portals, plus 33 random artifacts and wandering elementals and trolls. The author's description hints at obscure routes that stray from the beaten track.
